Venture Heights Elementary School
HERITAGE FAIR
This year we plan to have our first real Heritage Fair. This event involves all students from grades five to seven. Students research a topic which is related to Canadian Heritage. Their project usually includes a written report, a display and a two- to five-minute presentation on their topic. The fair itself will be held on March 24th. Students will have a chance to view each others’ displays in the afternoon. They will be expected to be at school for the evening of the same day. The community is invited to attend the Heritage Fair from 6:45-8pm.
At Venture Heights School we strive to meet the needs of individuals in a safe and caring environment. We inspire one another to accept challenges, solve problems and respect others as unique, contributing individuals. We promote positive, joyous, life-long learning.

SPRING FESTIVAL
Mark Saturday, May 1st on your calendar and be sure to come out to our annual Spring Festival. This is our only major fundraiser of the year, and this year all proceeds will be put towards Everybody’s Playground. We are planning to have a raffle once again, so watch for tickets to come home with your child. We are also accepting donations that can be used for prizes, so if your place of work can donate anything it would be greatly appreciated.
