The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation (STF) has announced the suspension of the province-wide withdrawal of all voluntary professional responsibilities, including the withdrawal of noon-hour supervision, effective at the end of the day on Friday, April 12.

As a result, all Prairie Spirit schools and student transportation will return to their regular school day schedule on Monday, April 15. Regular noon-hour supervision will resume on Monday.

Prairie Spirit will provide any further teacher job action updates to families via email and text as soon as they become available. Information will be posted on the Prairie Spirit website: www.spiritsd.ca/update and on the Division’s social media channels.

The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation (STF) has announced the following sanctions for this week:

• A province-wide strike for one day on Wednesday, March 20, that impacts all Prairie Spirit schools.

As a result, school will be closed for students on Wednesday, March 20, and all school programming, including field trips and extra-curricular activities, will be cancelled. Please ensure you make alternate arrangements for your child/children for that day.

• The withdrawal of all extra-curricular activities provincewide for two (2) days: Thursday, March 21 and Friday, March 22. This withdrawal includes all extra-curricular activities before school, during the lunch hour, after school and the evening.
